The new interactive version of the Environmental Atlas of Abu Dhabi Emirate represents a key milestone for AGEDI - and for Abu Dhabi. It brings together, in a beautifully illustrated and highly accessible format, a broad story that weaves together the major themes of Abu Dhabi's environmental inheritance, including the geological history, water resources, marine and terrestrial habitats, our oil and gas resources, the remarkable story of human development and the challenges society faces as we look to the future.

Eye on Earth

Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the Eye on Earth Summit will enable global leaders, innovators and decision-makers to focus on an issue critical to the wise decision-making upon which our planet's future depends. Over four days, Eye on Earth will address the crucial importance of environmental and societal information and networking to decision-making. On the final day, the Summit will deliver its conclusions, special initiatives and a declaration towards Rio+20.
