West Asia GEO Portal

On the global front, our primary partner efforts in developing regional partnerships, networks and capacity building in environmental data management and availability converged with our own. Consequently, as a contribution of AGEDI, EAD signed an agreement with UNEP under which it will adapt, implement and host the West Asia GEO Data Portal.

Its online database holds more than 450 different variables, as national, subregional, and regional statistical or geospatial data sets (maps), covering themes like Freshwater, Population, Forests, Emissions, Climate, Disasters, Health and GDP displayed for viewing as on-the-fly maps, graphs, tables, or download the data in different formats.
